We've never had problems with using it around or even on our dog. Maybe if you own a sissy little chihuahua, you might have problems. It is hell on cats though. It can make them sick as hell.
This stuff might do some good in mosquitoes biting through your clothing, but DO NOT use this stuff as a mosquito repellent and head out into the woods in Southeast Texas without some OFF or a thermacell!! I tried that on a teal hunt several years ago, and sure am glad I had a can of Off in my hunting bag... It might have killed a few skeeters that landed on my clothes and tried biting me thru them, but it didn't do a thing for those trying to get at my bare skin... like around my face and hands... This is NOT a repellent. It is and insecticide. ...and a darn good one for it's proper application I might add.
Really? I use it all the time and it makes a night and day difference
Permethrin is the synthetic version of Pyrethrins which is derived from the Chrysanthemum flower. By some of the real stuff and compare the cost.
The real stuff is much better and safer and lasts longer. It is what is used in dairy barn automatic spray systems. http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/ri...ulv-p-216.html
Also what is used in big systems on houses. I install them
