Longest you've gone without shooting a deer?

This not meant to offend, but if I had gone 3-4 years without even seeing a deer, I would seriously consider what I am doing wrong or finding a new place to hunt.

14 years for me - from birth to my 1st deer.

This will also be my fourth year, but I can't say it's a drought because I have let several shooter bucks go because they were not monsters and I was let them walk to get bigger. I have let 3 does go this year on public land that I could have taken with my bow. So it's all good, but the next good buck may have problems.

well, free place to hunt is free...you hunt where you can...and it will not always be the best...so I guess you get what you pay or don't pay for

Dang man, six years for me. I used to kill 4-5 every year before this dry spell. I have killed a lot of hogs in that six years though but none this year.

Right now, I'm on my 4th year of a deer drought. Hoping to tag out quickly this next month.
