We have all his books, and they work. Have gotten rid of a lot of un-needed debt and stupid spending. Really opens your eyes to a whole new world. there will be a lot of nay sayers who think he is dumb and just out to make money by selling books and such. they will say its common money sense that they already know. majority of thise people are trying to keep up with the Jones and are digging deeper everyday. I was one of those until I really looked at what I wasting money on and what I want in life. It becomes clear very fast, trust me.

We did the class. It helped us tremendously. There will be a few in this thread before long to tell me how stupid I am for having to take the class. It is easy common sense methods, sometimes you just need a little guidance we did.
We moved to Midland debt free after taking his class. We rented for 2.5 years before we bought a house. We bought the house in september and will have it paid off in 7 years using his methods and putting a decent down payment.
We have been saving to buy my wife a new truck due to wanting more space in the back. In June we would have had enough to pay cash for a new truck. Her tahoe came up with a major electrical/computer issue and started using 2 quarts of oil per 300 miles in the last month. We got the new truck last week and will have it paid off on june due to the cash we have been saving since we paid her tahoe off. Had we not already planned to get rid of the tahoe for space issues we would have had it fixed.
Combined we dont make a lot per year, but using his methods for the last 5 years has allowed us to really manage our money. I think his retirement numbers are a little off and ive contacted a tbh financial guru to help us get going on investment/retirement/kids education this summer. His stuff works, our close friends are amazed at what weve been able to do on our income. They do give us a bit of a hard time when we will only budget to eat lunch with them at a resturaunt 2 Sundays a month. The other sundays we cook eat at the house.
Lots of folks will tell you he says to cut everything out. We found the opposite, he tells you to budget for everything. Want a new truck? Budget money each month for it and set it aside. Want a new tv? Budget money for it each month and set it aside.
Sorry for a long post, but ive drank the koolaid and its changed my family's life big time.

This sounds a lot like my wife and I. We know we need to budget/save, we just need a little guidance to do so.
