Do scent killers work?

I think they do work to deodorize strong scents, but they do have a scent themselves. I rarely use them, but I do carry it with me for the occasional time that I get something on me that has an odor when I am on my to the stand and do not have time to change. Besides that, I try to avoid using much at all.

I do not believe in them or cover scent.
You either play the wind, or you lose.
If a deer smells anything out of place, good luck, that is their home and they know what is supposed to be there.
This old timer I knew used to limit out every year with a re-curve, sitting in a tree branch SMOKING a cigarette. WIND.... that is all.
IMHO of course

I think they can reduce, but not eliminate, scent. I am washing my hunting clothes right now and I will hang them outside tonight and all day tomorrow. Ill then spray them down and store them til I get ready to walk to my stand. Then I spray down my boots, cap, and headnet, along with my hands. I have a couple of stands that I hunt ALOT, and I think it helps keep from burning them out.

They absolutely work at getting you to take dollars out of your pocket Hunters are the most gullible folks there are (even more so than women with their "anti-aging" crap). When someone comes up with something that will stop a blood hound from following your trail I MAY buy it. Until then, I will use that money for beer, gas to the lease, and ribeyes.
