            I'm guessing since you asked, you really are trying to convince yourself that it's okay to let it sit. Go with your initial gut feeling. Take care of business.

            I wouldn't set a trap unless I was prepared to deal with it regardless of what it caught.

                Ok, y'all have made me feel guilty...going to shoot him in an hour and a half. Wonder how much $ I'm actually saving in protein vs gas, tolls, time away from work???

                    The fact you have a camera pointed at it (or set it close enough to the feeder to be caught by the camera) tells me you knew the right thing to do when you set it. Also, there's the law...

                                Just set them when you get there and trip them when you leave. If you have a big coon problem, you will catch them quick! I've caught 30 so far this year doing this. I didn't know I had that many coons!
