A freakin men! January and February are the worse months out of the year hands down. I like cool (not freezing arse cold) weather for hunting season and the holidays. After the new year, you can have it.

I love all seasons. Just about the time I start getting tired of it, it changes.

Exactly why I am moving to Pagosa Springs!! Now, if my darn house in SA would only sell!!

I love how I'm always surprised at how bearable camping can actually be in July. I love the lighter traffic in Houston when school's out. I love getting up early to fish, coming home and taking a nap, then waking back up again in time for lunch. I love listening to Paradise City while drinking my 5th beer in my floaty in the pool. I love crab and shrimp boils, and I love the way the AC feels when you come back inside after mowing the grass. I love listening to Texans' fans pitiful hope for a better season on sports radio...and listening to it crumble game by game in the first few weeks.
Well said, and I agree 100%. I guess I'm in the minority here, but I hate cold weather with a passion and the only thing good about the fall/winter is hunting. You can keep everything else. I guess I enjoy Sept. through Dec. pretty well, but from Jan.-April, I could just fast forward through those four months and go straight into summer. I love the water, boating, going to the beach, Frio River, long days, sitting out back in the evening listening to music and drinking a beer, and it goes on and on. Can't really say I enjoy doing the same things when its cold and dark outside.

I hate summer! Even though we are in a supposed dry heat environment, it still sucks. I'm having to do my running/biking at dusk, which isnt bad, but dang! Bring on fall!

Every year at this time I start fantasizing about having a summer home in Pagosa Springs. There are so many impediments but I swear I'm gonna twist off and buy a place there soon. It would be so nice to head there in early June and come back home in September.

Let me know when your ready. My wife just got her Colorado Real Estate License and we're moving to PS as soon as our SA house sells. There has never been a better time to buy there. Real estate prices are low, but they are starting to inch up and the forecast is higher very soon.

AMEN! If I was independently wealthy I would do this.

As much as I want to, I just cant hate summer. There are days I question my sanity, but I still would rather have 100 degrees vs ice on the roads and my house freezing up.

As the saying goes: "In winter you can keep putting on clothes till you're at a comfortable temp, but in the summer there is only so much you can take off without getting put in jail"
