Chiggers BAD! Need help

I have literally over 50 chigger bites all over my body. It is UNBAREABLE! They just keep coming and coming and I don't know what to do to get rid or help this!! Any advice would be perfect!

buy sulfur soap, or use some 90% rubbing alcohol, another thing is to use nail polish and cover the bites, it will suffocate them. i liked using the alcohol better

thers some crap called chiggerex. it will keep them form itching as bad for a while. put sulfur all over yer britches and socks every time you go outside. they wont get on you. don't pay attention to the people who say you have kill the chigger to make it quit itching. the chigger is gone by the time you know hes there. it wont do any good to put nail polish on it, or bleach, or whatever. you just need to help the itch a little.

I went to emergency room and had to get steroid shot and sum ointment

i used to get chiggers all the time at the lease in kirbyville, i finally bought a yellow bottle of permitherin from walmart in the outdoor section, its expensive but spray all of your clothes before you go in the field or on trails, they dont go near you. dont spray your skin, just the clothes, sleeves, leggs etc..... or if your not hunting drench your clothing with OFF spray with DEET. that works as well. trust me no place has more chiggers than east texas!!!!!

they are gone already. they buried in yer skin, ate some of your blood, and left. then it started itching. look it up.

I just took a little nap and woke up with more bites on places they weren't before.

When I got home I washed everything. I sure hope they are gone

Once the bites show up the chiggers is already gone unless you havent bathed or they are still on your clothing, so the nail polish does nothing in that regard.

Having been the victim of them many times, prevetion is the best medicine. Dust your boots/pant legs with powdered sulfur that can be found at most garden/hardware stores. Also wipe down your ankles and legs with rubbing alcohol when you get back from the woods.

Now that you already have the bites, youre in for an miserable week. Steriod shot would be best if its driving you crazy. ChiggerEX or Calamine lotion also helps the symptoms.

Little vinegar will help with itch. Sulphur powder in yard helps till it rains. They are bad this year

the chigger doesnt always leave that fast, they dig and bury eggs in your skin, if you cover it with nail polish, it does the trick, it just suffocates them and the eggs will not hatch.

Yep them lil critters suck bad. I have found nothing but time works for me

good luck brother I'm just recovered from a mess load, took me 3 weeks had about 100 bites. i tried salt rub, finger nail polish chiggerex, alcohol rub, sulfur soap…. you name it and chiggerex did help from itching them so much but you have to kill them or it will keep spreading with sometime of alcohol. Again Good Luck

Clean the area really good and put clear nail polish over them, kills them off pretty quick, no oxygen gets to them.
