Can I legally shoot a drone down?

That's just sort of creepy to watch your neighbors like that...

not only would the chooper be downed...but I would park it up his hanger!

It seems to me that if you shoot the thing down and destroy it, then there is no longer any evidence of it. If the owner has the video saved for evidence that you shot it down, then he has evidence of him spying on you also.

It seems he'd have to incriminate himself to put any heat on you. I'd shoot it down either way because it would be a blast, and because **** him for flying a camera over my property.

don't think I would risk prison...or a lawsuit over some twisted thought that it's some "pervert" spying. I'm not going to live my life in fear or worry about what everyone else is doing...call that what you want. That stuff just doesn't bother me. especially somebody flying their drone in the woods...

I do...and I'm sure we're photographed way more through traffic cams, personal cams and every kid out there with a cell phone more than you think. again, not sweating a random drone.

hey, this is just my opinion...no different then everyone else's...I guess I try to find the positive more than the negative in most things.

btw...I'm not a doomsday prepper either...

I seem to recall Red Jacket putting a 9mm Mac10 on one of those drone thingys, supposedly for bomb control..

I would shoot it down in a heart beat!!! 12ga with T shot should do it. After I shot it down I would hang it on my fence with a logging chain around it.
