Truly, it is all about getting more families out into the woods and an excuse for me to make time to get my family out there as well.
I know that there are probably many dads just on TBH that would like to find a place to take the kids camping other than a park.
State parks are great, i take my family several times a year. But a real ranch, open to exploration( by a guide...me) is a different story all together.
Besides, i enjoy meeting new people, sharing a camp fire, camp cooking, and hiking
You sound like a really good guy, and im proud to be a TBH brother with ya. Thanks again for offering your place to my family. Even though we decided to head East for the July campout, I appreciate your willingness to donate your time and property. I would be very careful about doing that on a full time basis. Even if people sign waivers they ain't worth the paper they are printed on. I would trust fellow TBH'ers, but not too many others. I would also worry that some of the summer campers may return as poachers in the fall. Seems like the CONS just outweigh the PROS.

Cons probably do out weigh the pros in this case. It was just a thought that I had because I enjoy the outdoors and figured it might be a way to spread the enjoyment a little.
I don't think you could buy enough insurance to make this work out.
Not for the little bit of money you could potentially make off of it. And then there's all the hassle of taking reservations, etc....
It's a generous thought, but not something I'd ever do. Inviting friends would be doable, but trying to turn it into a money maker wouldn't be worth the time and hassle for me.
How about this scenario
Land owner says i really need to make more money with this place, the hunting rights just are not enough, Can you help me provide camping adventures during the off season?
What would you do?
Sure, as long as you have another property away from the one I pay to lease. And you pay me by dropping my hunting payment and/or pay me in feed.
I think the original question is a very slippery slope, and goes no where good. With the landowners and especially other hunters. Its not your own personal playground, its your hunting lease.
I dont go to my hunting lease to just hang out(although theres plenty of that gets done). I think ts disrespectful to the owner and other members to use the place as a private amusement park, and especially to profit off of it.
As a land owner, I would have to find new hunters to lease my place if I found out they were bringing strangers to my land to try and make a few dollars. I am leasing it out to them and only them. To many negatives for the land owner.
