There are other people in there besides Rick. I know Rick and asked him about this story. He had a totally different version which wasn't surprising.

Looks like all was cleared up. You felt Rick broke your sight when he worked at Viking so you won't do business with West Houston now.

For the record his version is he showed you how to adjust the plastic site and you did the rest from there. The fact that he needed to show you hot to adjust the site told me all I needed to know

i guess im just lucky i live between ccr and all star archery both have helped me out and hooked me up a lot! CCR used to be rocky but now they are top quality and have nothing but good things to say about All Star, That being said for the comment about saving a dollar that is not the case! i can guarantee that most everyone on here would support their local if it meant a few bucks difference but when i can get a Qad Hdx for 70 bucks cheaper online i will even if i have to pay to get it put on. I buy my bows from them so i think it works out fine for them in the end. Save a dollar that is fricken funny!!!

If plastic is an aluminum extrusion....then I guess he is right. And for the record, here is the sight. Please tell me where the adjustments are plastic for those that know this site (not that it matters).

Never been to RC, but bought a bow online and took it to Clyde's in Corpus to rig out. They were more than happy and helpful in setting it up.

Since moving back to Houston, I have been to West Houston a time or two, and each time, not a good customer service experience. Had one of the guys actually break the sight off my bow (over torqued a screw), then claim it was the quality of the sight's fault. Asked him if he would take care of the issue seeing they carried the same manufacturer as the sight, but did not have the exact model, and basically was told no because it wasn't bought there. Went back to Clyde's and they replaced it, not questions asked under warranty.

I was just going off that post. If that's not talking about West Houston Archery I need to work on my reading comprehension. For the record I'm too old to get "butthurt".

Honestly... I'm not sure who is who and where is where anymore. I'm lost! So... I'm just going to do what I was taught... I'm going to stick to a tree and wait and watch.
