    FED UP! need advice.

Was in the back yard shoot n the bow last night pulled the trigger, release opens but nothing happens. The string was stuck I glanced my head over to see the issue and ZING it slipped off the release and then SMACK the arrow flies high and hits my barn. No more arrow! Now my questions I need a new release and was curious what is the best bang for the buck release? I would like to stay around 50$ but if there is one out there for a little more cash and is worlds better let me know. Thanks for the help!

I've had good luck with Scott releases. Very smooth and don't fray my string. I don't use a loop.

I'm shooting the same TRU ball that I bought 11 years ago and it functions flawlessly. It doesn't have to be latest and greatest to work well. Check for clearanced or older items to stay in your price range.

Scott makes a great release, but I always go back to my cobra.

I've never had a problem with any of my Scott releases, but they're a bit more than $50.00 I believe.
