In one weekend I shot and killed a 12pt (would have been 1st bow buck, but I didnt recover him ) on Friday afternoon, doe saturday afternoon, and an 8pt sunday afternoon. All in the same spot in an urban area.

In south texas as a kid I shot a coyote, bobcat and pig on saturday morning, and then shot all three same types the next morning from the same stand. Used a predator call the second morning.

Last year on Thanksgiving I shot a turkey, dragged her under my ladder stand, and shot a doe at last light. It took forever for her to come in because she was weary of the blood smell I believe.

A few weeks later my youngest brother got his first two deer in the same hunt, and they dropped within 30 yards of eachother. Rifle hunting also (he's only 13, bow is soon to come)

I shot a hog, coyote, and doe within 2 hours of each other and in that order.

Several times I've had deer blow out after a shot only to have them come back and investigate the carcass lying outside of the pen before jumping back in for more corn! They don't seem to care much if they don't see you make the shot

...depends... I've shot deer in the morning, and have the feeder go off for the afternoon feed and throw corn on the gut pile... deer come in and eat the corn off the gut pile...

If a deer is shot at a particular location, and there is a lot of traffic in the area making the recovery, sometimes activity is low to non-existent for a day or two.

I do know certain deer react differently to others being shot around them... Chew shot a management 8 while a nice up and coming 10 was there. I never saw that deer in the daylight at that feeder again for 4 years. I then shot him as an 8 1/2 year old.

Never had a problem with continuing to hunt after 1st deer.

If you kill a Coyote and leave it you probably won't have many deer hang around after winding the body.

I've had doe and young bucks come in while gutting a doe before but the deer are really over populated.

I think that the amount of time/noise from the recovery is more impactful than shooting something out of the stand. It depends on where you hunt. If it takes a dog and 4 guys 3 hours to find the deer you shot in the evening, you will likely see less the next morning. If you shoot a deer, it runs 30 yards and you quietly drag it out, less impact. to the area.

I've done it with both gun and bow! But that is also in South Texas and an area that is use to having a vehicle driven into it

I had a similar experience last year as well, I could've tagged out on my doe in one sit

It doesn't matter. I killed a cull buck and a doe in literally the exact same spot last season. I shot the buck he went about 15-20 feet from where I shot him. About 20-30 minutes later some does came in to eat the hand corn the buck was shot over. They sniffed the dead buck then ate the corn he was lying right next too.

I shot an eight and a nine ten minutes apart twenty feet from each other a few years ago in Arkansas. I thought I had missed the first deer and when the second deer showed up I thought we was the first. When I got down and saw the antlers on the second deer, I knew I had shot another one. I found him about thirty yards away. Used both of my buck tags on the first day of the gun season that year.

I have on video me shooting three deer out of the same stand in one sit.

Wind was heavy, first deer was perfect shot deer heard the thump all ran this deer ran about 50 yards spun and died in sight.

Deer couldn't figure out what happened came back into feed pen . . . doe number two gets the carbon injection

i sit with about 30 more minutes of shooting light and a managment buck and more doe come in.

Mgmt buck gets it in the boiler room, three deer dead in 100 yard circle.

We hunted that spot again about a week later and had plenty of deer.
