I apologize in advance for any hurt feelingsI find it funny you see Uncle Ted not wear camo and kill a deer and profess that camo is now worthless and you're going to forego the use of it from now on.
To each their own and good luck in your strategy.

Yes the old guys did not use camo, but was hunting pressure the same as it was then as now? Anybody think that is a factor?
I don't know one way or another and a lot of it is great marketing, but I think it helps a bit. I don't buy the expensive stuff, but I still wear it. Plus it is just freaking cool. I also only hunt on the ground so I just feel more confident with it on.
I would love to see one of the hunting publications show how deer actually see some of the popluar camo patterns. They do the camo comparisons for how people see it, but how does it look when a deer sees it?

I don't wear camo anymore besides my hat. But, the hat is worn daily so that's an all the time thing. I wear black in my pop-up blind. Then, whatever the weather dictates in my pop-up stand. I assume if I were to stalk, or hunt tree stands I would wear camo. Any advantage against my target I am going to take.
