          texas does have plenty of 200" deer, but nets are for fish....

            John Stein's book Big Rack was the most extensive records/photos on Texas deer hunting I have ever seen. Most, if not all of the listings are in there with pictures, stories, etc. I'm not sure if the book is still in publication.

                    fyi - LA free range archery record harvested on 12-26-11 breaking a 30 yr old record

                    scored 203 1/8" , after drying a deductions from a few irregular points, measured 186 2/8"

                    Rt side measured 98" , Lft side 88 , with a 17" inside spread


                    58 lb. Black Widow was the weapon of choice .... shot at 6 yards 236 lbs on the hoof

                      Only if the hunter decides to enter the trophy. Most will choose P&Y and B&C, never messing with LSBA.
