The Muddy Harness comes with a strap that you can tie to the waist belt. This allows you stand up in the loop to keep the leg straps from cutting off circulation. It stays in a little baggy that is attached to the harness.

Fall protection equipment, from anchorage connectors and fall protection harnesses to rescue and descent devices, and more.

Similar to what is in the link. Step Relief.

Also keep your cellphone where you can reach it. Have emergency numbers and GPS coordinates handy.

Those videos one climbs in to the rope and the other falls in a way that he is in control. When you fall your not going to be ready for it or slowly lower yourself in to the rope.

Rock climbing belts are rigged on very short anchor points and the fall is distance is minimal. Im sure they save lives in falls but not made for a true fall arrest like a body harness. A body harness is designed to spread the load from the force of the fall to reduce injury. That is why OSHA requires them in construction settings.

where are you tied off to?

How high is your anchor point for your fall arrest lanyard?

How long is that lanyard meaning when you fall where will you end up?

What will you be swung into and be hitting you head on?
I will be tied off to the tree.I always have the lanyard anchored that when I sit that the slack is pretty much out . If I fall I should be right next to my stand if it is still in the tree with me. I don't for see me falling out of my stand I just worry if the stand collapses or some how breaks or breaks loose and falls to the ground before I get the strap ratcheted around the tree. And I always try to keep my cell phone on me not in my stand pouches.
