Another thread got me to thinking about some advice a buddy have me when I first started bow hunting. He said don't for a monster for your first deer. Shoot the first thing that walks out and get some practice because I promise you will miss. Well he was right I missed my first few arrows at deer to the point I got so frustrated I tried taking it out in a coon. This coon came out and I emptied my quiver!!!! I shot a rock, the ground, a dead tree lying on the ground and a live tree in front of me
. I was about the give up when my buddy told me to bend at the waist vs raise my arms up and down and not change my anchor point. Well I finally connected back to back on my next two! Anybody else have any similar experiences or all y'all expert bowhunters from the start
