otter box failed

I have an IPhone 3 and if not for the heavyduty otterbox cover it would have been broke several times from falling out of their crappy plastic holster. My wife has the IPhone 4 and the otterbox cover for it is so thin and cheezy, I'm shocked that hers hasn't been broken yet.

I threw mine after an argument with the wife and it stuck in the closet door. It hit the corner of the otter box like I was throwing a Chinese star. Phone still works and not a scratch on it. Ironically she was griping about me being on TBH to much.

you can get a back replacement on ebay or amazon for about $7 and replace it yourself. very easy only have to takeout two screws.

its like a 5 dollar fix. just get on google and find a back glass you like. has two screws in the bottom (the new glass will come with screwdriver) take those out and slide glass up and replace.

Thought "sh1t, there goes 500 bucks..." slammed on the brakes stopping traffic got my phone and it was still playing the song I was trying to change. only a couple scratches on one corner of it and the phone had NO DAMAGE AT ALL. Its the only thing I'll put on my phone now... tried and applied and passed with flying colors!

Check our Griffin Survivor case for Iphone. I changed to this from otterbox. It provides
a lot more protection and looks cool, and is cheaper!

ran mine over the other day with my f250 it was in a lifeproof and the back shattered but the screen is still good and still works.

From what I've heard, if your phone is broke while in an otter box, they will buy you a new phone. I'd call AT&T and ask.
My cousin told me that because I chipped my glass with an OB on. It isn't bad, so I didn't worry about asking.

Contact Otterbox customer service and see what they say/ might do for you.

My rubber outer casing on a 3GS Defender started ripping on the little tabs, and they said "No problem" and mailed me a new one no charge.

Otter box said they cant do anything I didn't think they would. So I ordered a new back off ebay and either going to buy a life proof or a griffin case.
