Does any one else hunt with a really old bow?

I just wanted to see who else hunts with an old bow and gets made fun of? I hunt with a Mathews Featherlite that was made in 1997. I purchased it as my first bow from DaveC on here several years ago. I have purchased two other newer bows only to turn around and sell them to go back to this old one. There is something about the way that it shoots that gives me more confidence than the other newer bows did. I get made fun of at deer camp by the guys that buy the new bows every year. It doesnt really bother me though, their deer are just as dead as mine. Anyway I just wanted to see who else feels this way.

My dad was hunting with an old Jennings up until last year. He finally upgraded. Not sure how old it is but I know he was hunting with it in 1980. And killed deer last year with it. No peep sight and fingers.

Mine is about 7 years old, first bow I have owned. Been thinking about getting another one, so I at least have a back up.

That Featherlite is a good bow, very forgiving. I had a Feathermax that I wish I had never sold.

You're gonna have to define Old Bow alittle better. There are some guys on here that go threw bows like most people go threw toilet paper If it ain't this season its already old I on the other hand I have a 09'Diamond that i will keep till it falls apart.I also have a Hoyt Ram Hunter II that is about 20 yrs old that i still shoot. Its what i learned to bow hunt with.

I have a 2012 Bear Carnage, it's old now that the 2013's are out

My dad still hunts with his PSE from 1991ish, fingers. It's so loud I need ear plugs when he's shooting next to me. He's still killing deer with it though.

I still use my 97' Hoyt Deviator. It shoots just as fast as some of the new bows.

I was shooting a 98 Jennings up until last Christmas. My younger cousin is shooting it now.
