No. The amount of scent reduction is so minimal that it's not worth the money. Scent Killer spray works a lot better for far less money. If you have money to blow on clothing, buy some Sitka, UA or Kuiu clothing that will keep you really comfortable and quiet in the stand - that's worth more than the minimal scent reduction that carbon clothing gives. Then spray down with some scent killer from Walmart- it works well no matter what clothes you are wearing.

I bought into Scent Blocker clothing when it first came out- hook, line & sinker. But I learned that it's a marketing scam. One day I was reading a technical article on scent blockers website that showed that if their products performed perfectly, the best you would get was 20% reduction in odor. When I wrote them to ask about it they disappeared the article and never wrote me back. Scent-Lok got sued a few years ago for making false claims of effectiveness and LOST. It was proven that they were dramatically over-hyping the effectiveness of their products.

Wrap a dog treat up in it and see if the dog doesn't rip it apart trying to get to it.

Might help, but don't ever not play the wind.

Keep doing your prehunt prep and skip the Scent-loc.

does it work? not sure....can it hurt? no....

i buy it because it is comfortable and quality gear....if it helps at all it is a plus
i do spray down, and i do believe it works.. i still have to play the wind, no way around that 100%

I use it for the quality of their product not what it does. Some of the best Camo clothing I have ever owned.

No they had an injunction against them while things were being tested and it was dropped when the testing was completed because the claims of not being effective were found to be untrue.

The only way you'll ever be scent-free is to stop breathing.

Sprays and scent-free showers, etc. can help but the vast majority of human scent vapor is created when you exhale. That $300 carbon suit you bought won't do ANYTHING to mitigate that.

to Listerine or not to Listerine, that is the question of the day.

As Mike can tell you ScentLok "lost" the ability to use the term "eliminates odor". The word eliminate was ruled to equate to 100% elimination.

ScentLok tested at over 98% hence not 100%.

Yes I have some suits used to be a prostaffer so at the time maybe I was a little biased but as a hunter of mature bucks I did my own research and testing "in the field" if you will. I believe as they will tell you it's part of a system to reduce the scent (and this is my belief) enough to make the mature buck think yes, a human was here but the scent I'm picking up is days old....he's no longer as big a threat.

That being said, the most effective product I've used has been a scent reduction product working on lactic acid reduction (what an animal picks up that let's him know you are a meat eating predator). Yes, I too repped this product and didn't have much success moving it as the advertising dollar was not there like say DDW (also did some work for them).
I will not advertise the product I am a firm believer in but someone can PM me. As part of a "system" or stand alone it has truely amazed me.

I just purchased a set because I got it on sale and needed new camo. I can't say if it works or not but like other have said it is quality material and very comfortable and durable. I would purchase it again for that fact alone. I see getting years out of it instead of 1 or 2 seasons with other cheap made camo.

Let`s be honest, there are LOTS of hunting products in the market that seems not to work or work just a little but we keep buying them since their are part of our hunting stuff or gear, you can be full dreesed in camo or wearing white t shirts and blue jeans and still succeed in harvesting an animal, like I said these things are part of our equipment that`s why we buy them, I do too but I like to try my own method which is going to one of the feeders, put on my coverall, hunting boots an cap, lay down and roll over my back and chest in the soil below the feeder three or four times, that way I get all the scent needed to blend, all the animals leave their odors in those places (poos and pees included) I finished like a bakery rat because of all the dust but it really works.

I can beat all those scents in the market that`s the most powerful and fresh scent and best of all it`s free...

                                Have a good one
