    Scentlok

Let`s be honest, there are LOTS of hunting products in the market that seems not to work or work just a little but we keep buying them since their are part of our hunting stuff or gear, you can be full dreesed in camo or wearing white t shirts and blue jeans and still succeed in harvesting an animal, like I said these things are part of our equipment that`s why we buy them, I do too but I like to try my own method which is going to one of the feeders, put on my coverall, hunting boots an cap, lay down and roll over my back and chest in the soil below the feeder three or four times, that way I get all the scent needed to blend, all the animals leave their odors in those places (poos and pees included) I finished like a bakery rat because of all the dust but it really works

I can beat all those scents in the market that`s the most powerful and fresh scent and best of all it`s free...

    Have a good one

Seriously tho. My rat terrier could pic me off in it when he would go down wind of me. And they aint known for their noses. My weimeraner could nail me at will in it. Total gimmick.
agree . . .. . my answer is no. The only way to beat a deer's nose is to play the wind right when you hunt.

Ozonics is the closes thing I've seen to really helping but it's still not even close to 100%.

I'd rather pay half for under armour and regular cotton hunting clothes and spend my money on and ozonics.

I've also been extremely happy with the brick, it's an ozone machine that kills scent on clothes. cost me around $80 bucks and I'm a huge fan. I had clothes that absolutely stunk of the camp fire and a couple of rounds in the bin I could no longer smell it.

          Ah the elusive 100%.

Do you use the Ozonics? if so why did you choose to try it? Was it the science behind it or the advertising?

What % will make a difference with a mature buck?

I will say if will vary based on what he's doing at the time. Chasing a doe not much will matter, alert because dozens of hunter have invaded his home and the alert is much higher.

All these products mentioned work to a certain level some much more than others. The biggest factor is always human error in using the products and how they apply them to the hunt.

You can have the best gear in the world and make the wrong mistake ei. riding in a scent infested vehicle and it's all out the window.

Works for me. I want as many things in my favor as possible. Carbon clothes are better than non-carbon clothes. Why would you/anyone not wear them???

the chemistry says that scentlok can only work till the carbon is saturated with scent molecules. the only way for carbon to purge the scent molecules is to heat it to 1200 degree's.
better to use a spray on scentkiller (often) and hunt the wind IMO.
