Usually results in me turning in early with him.

I know it is deer camp and guys want to be guys, so I end up trying to adapt as best I can.

One day he will be older and it will not matter, but for now I do not like the foul language in front of him. He will learn it in life, I know, but he will never learn it from me. I also do not cuss in front of other folks kids either.
yes I am sure there are plenty that would not be interested in a place where they had to speak like a grown up instead of a 20yr old, but I don't care for foul language myself and won't tolerate it at all around women or youth. I try to stay away from situations where I know foul language will be the norm, but will tolerate it if I find that I have accidentally put myself into a situation where it is being used.

Glad I am not the only one.

        My only real concern...

        1. No Internet do gooders with holier than thou attitudes allowed on my lease.

I just love my leasemates. They are actually the same people on tbh as they are in person!

                    Very good exception, Sir!
As for us, in central TX, I do believe NO loaded firearms should be allowed within a certain proximity of camp. PRIME EXAMPLE!...Kid got a hold of one of our hunter's loaded rifles and shot a hole in another hunter's vehicle. Luckily, no person was shot!

Not even a conceal carry? ...without alcohol of course..

Seriously though my CHL pistol is loaded at all times. It may be in my camphouse when I am drinking but it is loaded at all times. I'm pretty sure the police officer member we have does the same.

Stupid comment here. A loaded firearm in an unsafe situation is a lot more dangerous than any of the things you named. People are so calous with firearm safety. I see people lay loaded guns down on a table outside, or lean them up against a wall, or put loaded weapons in a gun rack pointed right at a guy in a high rack. Regardless of the odds, a whole lot of things can accidentally happen that could cause that gun to go off. If I see a gun, I want the action open or the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. I've been around more AD's than I can remember in my young life, and until you've had that experience I dont think you fully appreciate how easily a gun can go off.

The guys on this lease are all good friends of mine. Gun saftey is not an issue with this group.

I thought the joke was funny!

FYI: I am banning sporks from the ranch all together.

                                1. Don't sit my stand and shoot a 2.5 year old when you don't take the time to have your own set up. Esp without asking.

                                2. When you finally have a set up ( a week after opener) don't throw a lock on it since you have been using others set ups like they are yours.

                                3. Don't drive your Ranger all over heck back while another member is out there hunting with your loud ***** family hootin and hollerin

                                4. If you say you are going to get the money to lease manager on a certain date... do it.

                                5. Don't try and take more deer then what you were allowed, just because you think we didn't make the rules.

Amazingly one guy broke all 5 of these in about 3 trips out there.
