You’re gonna have to do a sneak attack on em!

AC, you must not have got the rain out there that we got; either that or your axis are waaaaaaaay different.

It’s greening up here a lot, and the axis have pretty much totally abandoned the feeders.

It’s amazing how long they will “ dance”! Sometimes you can hear the thuds from a pretty long distance away. WT have nothing on them.

We are in a serious drought. It makes them hit the feeders hard, but I’d love for it to rain.

Anyone make it out this weekend? I’ll be heading to Sonora tomorrow afternoon. Going to fill up some waters and probably dump 1000 pounds of CS. Alfalfa might not be the ticket after it greens up

My target buck was at a feeder this morning but he's only showing up on camera about once per week. I'd like to see him coming in more regularly before I start making sits.

Our problem is we can’t even get them to come to the feeders lol. 😂

Got to the ranch only a few pics of axis. Didn’t hear anything roaring. I’m going to sit a water hole tomorrow see how that goes

Pretty early for the rut. Mid to end of may.

Put salt blocks in your feed pens.

We usually still hear them messing around. It’s rare we don’t really. Everything looks pretty green now so I’m sure they got scattered. Sitting on a little hole that collects water when it rains. Looks to be some big buck tracks. Wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s axis or wt but they look big.

Any action at the water hole?

March and early April they were hitting the feeders hard. We have gotten some rain and once it greens up they are hard to hunt. Here are a few of the better ones.

Had a blackbuck come in and some wt doe. The doe came in straight down wind and I got busted. Topping off the cotton seed now

Studs like always! Do they hit those blocks pretty good?
