They turned on a dredge discharge by the house. So I’ve been going and fishing for trout then stop by and do some redfish catching. It’s fish from 15 inch to 36 and there is no fishing. Throw whatever cut meat out in current and set hook. I did it for about 90 minutes yesterday and bad shoulder got irritated so taking wife and kid this afternoon and I’ll be watching.

Fished for a couple of hours this morning. Trout were right where they should be and it was pretty non stop catching until I went in. Threw a topwater and a glide bait and they hit both equally as good. Lots of solid over slot fish. They showed themselves quite a bit, chasing both menhaden and mullet, each time I’d see one jump out of the water, a quick cast to that spot would produce. Hopefully Ill get to chase em again tomorrow.

Some friends & I made our annual trip to fish down south. Even with the wind pumping Sunday, the water in Baffin was nice on monday morning. We caught them pretty good for being right after a hard front. We released a lot of over slot trout including 2 27" fish. Kept a few slot fish for the restaurant.
Hit it again Tuesday morning and were in the water well before sun-up. This turned out to be an epic , almost perfect day. All we lacked was one of us catching a 30" fish. We released big girls for several hours until the wind switch, water went to glass & the bite died. We went to the boat, had lunch & went after them again, breeze kicked in out of the south & the bite really turned on. I had one hit a soft dine XL so hard she almost took the rod out of my hand, she was a little over 26". I never have caught that many fish over 24" in a day.

Nice work, Hollywood!
I was able to make another quick trip this morning. Pretty much same story as yesterday. Had a really nice trout on, after she shook her head on top she brought me down into the grass and pulled off.
Shortly after that the dolphins moved in, shut everything down and cut the trip about 30 minutes shorter than planned.
With the higher winds and little more off color water this morning the topwater outperformed the glide bait.
