That is a stud of a trout. I have fished many years and never caught a 30 inch fish. Had one not long ago that was close- 1/16 inch close but still not 30. Congrats

Left work early yesterday and hit a walk in spot for an hour and a half. Got three barely legals, a limit lol. They got to swim away and grow up a little. Much better than working, retirement isn't far away. Click image for larger version

I'm in the same boat, have caught a few over 25 every year for the last 7/8 years and have never crest the 8lb or 30" marks.

                          Way to go Mr Kevin.
I was going to ask the same thing. Pics of the fish slayer please. 😁

It's a Corky Devil type lure. I used a modified Devil to create a mold and modified it so I can put a harness in it or rig it weedless. I love the Corky Devil but you can't throw it into structure, so I put a hook slot in it. I use lead wire around the hook shank so I get a level slow sink, it doesn't nose dive. It's a sinking durometer plastic with no salt so it's pretty durable so far. I've caught (4) trout over 5 pounds this past couple months, it's really working well. Click image for larger version
