Well, if I were you, I don't think I'd be bragging about my ignorance.

At least that's better than chicken frying it lol.

Cultured folks eat rice instead of smushed up potatoes.

You are correct. I'm a proud uncultured, unwashed, white trash, Maga, straight male, smashed up potato eating East Texan who has Christian beliefs with Arkansas ancestors. LOL

Last time I check SE Texas and SE Arkansas were known as big rice growing areas. Never head of the thousands of acres of potato farms in either state. Maybe it’s just me, though?

You don’t have to have thousands of acres to grow taters. Most folks grow em in their back yard garden.
Rice, well yes we grow lots n lots o rice. We ship it all to China, we’ll except what little we use to fatten the hogs.

You are correct. Eastern Ark and S. Texas are big rice areas but not ETX and SW Ark where I'm from. We're tater heads. They'll grow anywhere. Even small tater farms.

You shouldn't be allowed to hunt if you're going to waste the meat like that.

Squinty eyed fellers may take rice over mashed taters, but not southern folks

Chicken fried strap is about as good as it gets, however , I do have another way to cook it and it is awesome.
