I don't believe they used to do 1lb, so if they do now I will definitely get more done there. Like I said, I really like their flavor. It is still my go to place when I want specialty stuff done.

I’m close to P&P so I use them, and have for many years. I was among their first customers and know the owners. They are pricey, but clean. They only take deer in ice chests already quartered unless you’re special. I’m special !

Or unless you’re an old fart that’s been using them since they began !

No way can we eat all that and it’s a pain to break it down to smaller 1lb packages. So if I'm just getting ground, I take it to R&R outside brownwood. Doesn't mix people's deer and is priced reasonably.
How about you just tell us you want 1 lb. packages?

We have used them for many years and have become pretty good friends with them. David and Sandy do it right and always take care of us. They have done numerous deer and a couple of Nilgai (Cow and a Bull) the last two years. They will make what ever you want.

David struggled for a few years trying to get his products right, but he made it. Good snack sticks, sausage, and such.

Did you ever meet Bucky the Buck Deer? After raising him from a Fawn they put an Orange Collar on him to try to protect him a little. He was never penned up and was always free to come and go. I am sure someone eventually got him. Heck, he slept with David's Coon Dogs at night!!

Bellville meat market. They have done great for me for around 10 years.

Met him or saw him several times and even petted him once, but on that occasion my JRT was with me and growled at him so Bucky took his leave pretty soon. Sarge didn’t know the difference between a live pet and a dead one he was trailing up !

I use Kim Gibson, who used to own Gibson's in Groves before he sold it. He just does it out of his shop now. If I am in the Hondo area though, I'm dropping stuff off at Primo's. Love their chop steaks.

Never knew that was an option. Was never offered that. Didn't know the secret code handshake. I'm asking for the Jeff special next time. That was my only gripe. Never had any issues with the flavor or quality. Still my preferred place. Now I have nothing to gripe about, thanks a lot .

                            Primos in Hondo.
They also make the best Parissa around.

Kimble Processing in Junction for me. I’ve tried the ones here in Sonora, and this one in Junction is worth the drive.
