Apologies, it is just north of jacksboro. I don’t recall the name. Only used once but they did a really good job. I will use them again if I get lucky at that spot.

I like Cinnamon Creek for all their sausage products (brats, breakfast, dry, etc..) They have great flavor. But, I HATE the ground burger and breakfast sausage is 2 lb packages. No way can we eat all that and its a pain to break it down to smaller 1lb packages. So if I'm just getting ground, I take it to R&R outside brownwood. Doesn't mix people's deer and is priced reasonably.

Normally I do my own, but if I want someone else to make sausage, I have had a great product from:

            Vinceks (East Bernard)
            Slovacek's (Snook)
            Tallent's (Trinity)
            Greens (Zabcikville)
Texas Chaw (Caldwell)- not sure if this is open anymore but was good when it was
Had friends give me sausage from Jurek's in Bay City and some place in Santa Fe. Both were good.

I've had Bellville and Arnolds. Bellville is just too dang pricey for me and their sausage was ok. I was not impressed with Arnold's at all.

Stantons.....not the best, but not the worst by any means. I've never had any issues, I just wish they smoked their links about 4 more hours

I 100% let them grind and package my deer/brisket burger. Thats all we cook with.

Probably Doreck's. My younger brother has taken a few deer there and what I've had that he got was very good.

I'm about to try my hand at doing our own processing. The main thing is probably going to get our recipe and mixture right for sausage, I've done pretty much everything else involved several times over the years.

I have a couple of different places that I use.

                    Willie Joe’s Processing- Schulenburg
                    Maeker’s - Shiner
                    Janak’s - Hallettsville

Sometimes I will go to Prasek’s in Hiillje

I've used him before. Not bad but not great and he's expensive. Tom Jr's in Kirbyville is better in my opinion. There's a place out in Chester that my dad has used before and they were ok but I can't recall the name of the place.

They have been bad since the 1990’s
When I went to the back shop with a buddy and saw how they processed the deer I never went back,
they actually processed deer that had maggots in them , and deer that had been killed on Saturday and not gutted till Monday or Tuesday

I like Cinnamon Creek enough that I haul my stuff there from Abilene. You can get 1 pound packages of everything if you request it.
