Well, she walked a few steps around to the chair, with a walker, and now she is playing scrabble with her sister. PT guy says she has zero restrictions so things must have been ideal. I expect them to send her home tomorrow or the next day with a walker and get home health PT: times a week and a nurse once a week. Be surprised if they recommend more than that after talking to PT guy.

Yesterday, my husband said something i didn’t like and, as I often do, I turned to walk away in a (lighthearted) snit. Got all tangled up in that walker and nearly went down but for my husband catching me in time.

Not adding tennis balls to that…

Great news Don , did yall get the walker with the tennis balls?

No balls yet, because no walker yet. Gonna wait until we get the final orders from the doc, but she was in great spirits tonight when I left. I just got home about 15 minutes ago ‘cause somebody has to feed these sorry, lazy cats and her sis is gonna spend the night with her. I have to go get my finger pricked in the morning to make sure my blood runs freely if I ever cut myself. Then, my orders are to pick up the mail and deliver it to Her Highness in person so we can keep current on whatever we owe THE MAN.

BTW, y’all might send one up for my knees, ‘cause I walked 143.78 miles in that hospital today. Theys sore !
