Not fair! Good point and well taken.

No way is Eli a better anything than Peyton. Peyton has forgot more on football than Eli knows. I guarantee you Eli was under his wing all week begging for help to pick apart the pats. Eli is a great QB and not to take that away from him but, he is one of the luckiest guys iv ever seen on the football field. He can throw picks and drag butt all game to have his defense keep them in it...then come back and have some receivers make catches that wouldn't be made if they tried another 100 times. He is surrounded by a much better team than Peyton. Heck if you took Peyton, put him on the giants team, they would be in the big show yearly

Peyton has done a whole lot more with less. How many championships could the colts have won if they had a defense? Eli has definitely stepped out of Peytons shadow though and I wish he played for the cowboys.

I am not an Eli fan, in fact, I think he is the biggest dork in the NFL. Still knowing that, he is a "whiny little b!!!!" with 2 rings on his finger.

Heath said it best, he plays BIG on the BIGGEST stage. He is stood toe to toe with Tom Brady, who is the best QB in the NFL, and knocked him out twice. You start knocking first ballot hall of famers down with regularity, its not long before people start talking about you in the same breath. Good for Eli... Heck good for the NFL, best game in America put on another good show.

Watch out for them Texans next season, when do OTA's start???

Forget the QB's....Mario Manninghams sideline catch should have given him the MVP.... What an awesome catch!

If the giants lose Eli, they are still close to a 500 team IMHO. Both are good but if both were healthy and 100% I would pick Peyton all day every day.
They were close to a .500 team with him. 9-7 in the regular season. I doubt they would have made the playoffs without him.

Nobody (except pathetic gamblers) were picking the Giants to win the Super Bowl when the playoffs started.

If you gave out a lvp he'd have earned it I'm just tired of the QB'S always getting the spotlight when there are a other players that make great plays on defense and offense. Without Mario's catch, would the giants be getting rings?

                  I doubt it!

                    good call B

David Carr is Eli's backup @ QB .

Death Dealer, do you honestly believe Carr would have won more than 9 games for the NYG ?

                    Carr's career stats

                    2002 : 4-12
                    2003 : 3-8
                    2004 : 7-9
                    2005 : 2-14
                    2006 : 6-10
                    2007 : 1-3
                    2008-present : has not started a game in over 4 1/2 yrs

You always say defense wins championships......or does that only count in the SEC with the anemic offenses?......

Watched a lot of college fb in my 54 years. Peyton was the only QB that I thought was a sure NFL QB. I have thought several would be really good...including Eli. Did not think Brady would be great, so what do I know. Still if both were 100%...I would take Peyton.
