As for Eli versus Peyton, well, I guess the only reason to play NFL football is to win the SB. Eli has accomplished that twice and Peyton once. I realize that the team behind the QB means a lot, including defense, but when it comes down to it, it's the SB that matters. Marino was great QB but he will always be known as the one that never won the big game.
Although I hate to say it, ELi has my vote at this time.
I do like Peyton's commercials though and I think he is a little better in the personality department.

... Defense wins championships is affiliated with Michael Jordan speaking about the NBA . He took pride in being the greatest defensive player and stressed the above phrase during his tenure with the Bulls.
