ID:	26763156 My solar lights all came on at 1:40pm. We watched thru my auto welding hood and on our cell phone cameras. Cell phone camera gave the best view IMO. And then it was over 3 minutes later.

That was pretty dang cool. Got real lucky, sky cleared up a couple minutes before total eclipse.

Currently 40 miles south of Houston.

Wind picked up and temp dropped substantially.

While we were able to view just fine, of course right after the festivities the sky really cleared up. Haha.

Now time to get all the plants put up and the wife’s vehicle in the garage for the severe storms and possible hail that might show up tonight.

Absolutely nothing but thick clouds here in Boerne. Bet all them fools who paid to be here are regretting that decision now

There was only a small sliver of sun visible here and it got very dusky looking. I expected.....more.

Pretty cool stuff. Wouldn't have travelled cross country for it but dang sure I got to experience it!

Got dark enough in the Cleveland area for our security lights to come on... It was raining the whole time tho, so we sat inside and watched from there!

I survived it........buddy of mine met family last week from New Zealand that came here for it......wasn't a blip on my radar just a mere curiosity but everybody is different.

Same here. I was thinking it was going to be much ado about nothing and be a grump. Glad I made the time and spent the money on glasses. The darkness was bad***.
