Been wondering when this was coming. Lots of demand out of Texas spilling into cheap Okie hunting.

Anybody see how much it'll cost to duck hunt?

I own land and a house in NW Oklahoma and have been deer hunting up there for over 20 year, and this little money grab has made me decide to cash out. I hope to be able to buy more land next to my place here in TX.

License will now be $208, plus $30 state duck stamp, and $3 for hip.

        So, basically $250

Not sure, haven't seen a full fee schedule.

They may only offer a 1 year license.

Moved to Ok just in time I guess. When I miss Texas I just head for the Blue River more Texans than Okies lol

Seriously though, what are other “attractive” states charging? I do feel for out of state landowners.

I spoke with the Oklahoma Wildlife Dept about this on Wednesday. They confirmed that it will be $208 plus $500 archery and $500 rifle. Begins this year, July 1.

So if we buy before July 1st we get last year pricing?

Only on the tag price will you get last year’s price before July 1st. You still need to buy the $208 license.

Texas non-residence is only $315 including all the tags. Western states are squeezing non residents out of draw quotas. Texas has no quotas.
