It **** sure sucks to be a landowner and still have to pay the stupid nonresident prices. But not gonna make me sell just to avoid an additional $200 per yr.

Pretty much getting in line with Kansas, I knew back when I hunted there had to buy license and a tag......some states you have to buy a license, non refundable, to put in for draw hunts and odds of being drawn low so basically just a shake down to get in draw......I have literally never been checked by an Oklahoma GW and I've hunted there my whole life, other than one time next to Salt Plains refuge and only once ever there and trust me we shoot a lot........ducks, geese and cranes, and never been checked for deer but also dirt roads and not far from the house......deer and turkey season the GW is running in circles with phone ringing.......

What really stinks is my college age daughters were finally going to be able to hunt up there this yr. But for all 3 of us to get a license it would cost $2,124.00 and they would probably only make it 3-4 trips. Thats really gonna sting if I decide to do it but not sure it will be worth it. They have got to find a way to do a landowner tag.

i used to bowhunt cross timbers and had a good time for a few years. license was $300 and a bit. then it got over crowded. people everywhere and they would set up right on top of you. didnt care if they were 50 yards from you. i had enough and called calf rope. now its more than doubled. definitely out

Thought of yall when this post came up. Really seems like they are trying to keep Texas residences from buying up OK land. Agreed on landowners having a discount for out of state tags!
