Okay, I have a question which may be dumb to some. Why are some areas in Colorado OTC and some draw? Does OTC have higher or lower numbers? I would think more plentiful, hence they're easier to get. Thanks in advance, I'm tired of wondering that.

Went scouting last weekend, found the elk. Called in a 5x5 at noon just bugling to bugle. Came in silent and busted me at 80, with a recurve it might as well as been 800. The elk are in big nasty blow down country...gonna be real fun getting one out.

Leave again Tuesday night for the rest of the season. Bring on the elk woods.

I feel your pain. Keep on plugging away. We couldn't put down any big game on our trip. Could have certainly filled my deer tag if I would have had the bowtech. A few people have asked why I didn't bring it. Somehow I felt ok about being so close to success but failing with the recurve. Maybe next time it will work out.
