I understand some people dont bow hunt, but at least show the hunters that do bow hunt a little courtesy. Even if they werent aware of it being opening day for bow season, they should still get on the same page. I told the lease manager and he feels that we shouldnt say anything to them because it is their property and they can do what they want on it. True, but I feel that someone should at least say something just incase they dont know any better. What ya think?
We have one stand in a corner of the property. Every once and a while, we have this situation occur. That's what you have to deal with if you hunt on a fenceline. I can't complain about what the neighbors do on their land. If you don't like it, your only real choice is to move. Neighbors are doing nothing wrong.

    A fence says NO TRESPASSING.

Im leasing from the land owner. Lease manager is just our contact to the land owner.

Your going to loose this one. I have this problem but my neighbors put there feeders right on the fence and there stands facing the fence. I let cows in and ride down the fence line to check fences. Am I in the wrong. No, they don't like it because I mess up there hunting, but tuff luck move your stands and feeders. This is a sore subject around Texas. If it is the only place you have to hunt it was one morning or evening. Hope it all works out

I wasnt trying to win anything. Just wanted to vent and see how others feel about the situation. Thanks for all of the input. I'm just pretty much screwed.

Well personally if thats all you have to hunt than it's what you have to deal with. If you have somewhere else to hunt and not be bothered do it. I wish there were more people like you who didn't set up on fence lines peeping over. Again best of luck hopefully they will only fill there feeders once this year lol

Did they know you were hunting there? How can they be courteous if they didn't know they were doing wrong? I would suggest getting to know them. So when you hunt they can be aware and then hopefully they can be courteous. If not, well its worth a try. One hunting season i was working on my tractor early in the morning discing because i had already shot my deer for the season and later on in the day my neighbor Who i've never met before came over and mentioned he heard me working the tractor and i immediately realized he was hunting and told him i wasn't aware he was hunting. Ever since then i'll make sure he isn't there before i could cause any disturbance. A little communication goes a long way.

That's just part of hunting. I had guys running dogs at 7am across the river and fence line from me last weekend. They lost a dog and it was roaming around on the river bed.
I didn't see a single deer Sunday morning and the place is typically a zoo.

Just one of many reasons to stay far away from fence/property lines. Hard to tell someone what to do on their own property. Everyone has priorities for their land and free time. Good luck.

The only thing you can do is to get to know them. It will take a season or two. Take them fresh venison or hog sausage. If you try to befriend them first you, one you will know if they give a hoot or not, two if you do hit it off they may want to work with you. Just a thought.

Have had the normal dove or supposed dove hunting shotguns going off everyday when hunting this year at several places. My friend had a couple people decided they were gonna sight in their deer rifles opening weekend at 7a.m. Same thing last night 20 rounds at a time, for over an hour at sundown when I was in the blind. Luckily the doe I shot last night came in anyway. Always something when trying to hunt though.

Could be because of this that they did it. Been alot of threads opposing the fence sitters even though it may be you're on your property and they on thier's, you have to think about how the other guy may feel for you sitting that close. Just saying.

I think that just like you can hunt right on the fence that they can fill their feeders when they need to. I don't care if you hunt along a fence but don't get mad at the other property owner for doing somethng perfectly legal on his property.
