I would move my entire setup off the fence line. If I were a betting man..I would almost bet the neighbors timed their feeder filling and knew exactly what they were doing

I know it's upsetting but they aren't doing anything wrong and how are they to know if you bowhunt or not. Maybe none of them do.

They set up an impromptu firing range from 4 pm to 7pm about 600 yards from me!

Nobody cares If you are hunting.... But these are the same people that will throw a ***** fit if you do the same to them!

Courtesy= Yelling excuse me after an extremely too loud fart/burp.... thats the new definition!

It sucks that it happened and talking to them might help but I fill my feeders at some pretty goofy times just because thats the only chance I get. I have filled them at 2:00 am a few times...I try and keep a good relationship with all my neighbors so when things like this occur it's pretty easy to discuss.

Your best bet in this situation is to keep quiet cause if THAT ever happens they can look at you and say SORRY. I would suggest moving your set up.

These were probally gun hunters and they dont always get it. probally their first chance to get out there and check setups.
I thought we had the right to track deer on other property as long as it doesnt say NO TRESPASSING or have purple stakes in the ground on the property line?

I understand some people dont have time, all I'm asking is should I try to say something or just go about my business? I'm not mad about it or anything, just frustrated mainly because it was my daughters first time to sit in a bow stand with me and we didnt see a single deer all weekend. Kinda feels like I let her down.

pretty sure you need permission to cross fencelines

Sorry to hear this and you feel it ruined your daughters time. Use it as a learning experience for her and do move the stand first chance you get.
Good luck with the rest of your season.

In my view this is your only option, or live with it. Good luck, I don't think confronting them will help at all.

Retrieval of Game: No person may pursue a wounded wildlife resource across a property line without the consent of landowner of the property where the wildlife resource has fled. Under the trespass provisions of the Penal Code, a person on a property without the permission of the landowner is subject to arrest.

From the 2010 TPWD Outdoor Annual.

A fence is consodered legal notice of 'no trespassing' so you cross it at your peril. The TP&W manual clearly states that you must try to recover, but that does not give you the right to trespass.

                              Call the landowner.
                              Call the game warden.
                              Call the park ranger's office.
Cross the fence at your own risk. Trespass is serious, armed trespass is much more serious.

Wouldn't say anything. Nothing wrong with filling feeders at
6pm either, it's alot cooler than noon or 3pm and coulda been the only time they could fill them. Not sure that many folks know/care about or plan their activities around the opening wknd of bowhunting if they don't bowhunt. Sorry this happened but if you're worried it may happen again I'd try to move everything further in...
