its a game! disagreements over a call are not worth getting worked up over. My guess is the beer impacted some decision making and some poor choices of words. if physical contact (pushing & hitting) and calling 911 is part of this ball league, I'd suggest finding another league.
This saved me from typing a response. I'm on the same side of the fence as ol' humper.
I was just like you when I was young. I played for a tournament team that played between 24-28 tournaments in 10 months every yr and I lost my cool over similiar things.
You have to remember first, it's just a game (ya'll do this for FUN). Secondly, the umpires are human, they are going to miss more calls than they usually make AND they don't want to look bad on the missed calls, so they more than likely will stick with their original call. When you get more than a few yrs under your belt (in softball and in life), you will know exactly what I am talking about...
Just walk away and forget about it. The fact that you got into it with an umpire to the point where "he pushed you" tells me you probably pushed it way too far. Put some beer on top of the situation and the end result will not be good.
If you need to release your pent up anger, quit softball and try the UFC.
X2.......your only other option is to wear his arse out next time, and that won't end up good. Most likely you will be sitting in jail with a sore face or a sore hand
Baseball.........? Not even worth a altercation unless u r being paid to be out there. (not so sure then either) Outside of that, probably not worth your time to pursue. If he is that big of a idiot he will get his soon enough.

Just how drunk were you that a LEO thought you were too drunk to drive after 3 hours sitting in his patrol car...
My thoughts too, a "few beers" is a relative term.
No call in sports is worth getting in a physical altercation, or arguing too much over. It's over and done with, the call had been made, no amount of argument is gonna reverse it.
