Played church league softball for many years and can't tell you how many times I saw folks almost go to the dirt over disagreements.

Good grief - it's a stinkin' softball game! So what if an ump makes a bad call? What if it costs you the game? So what - it's a softball game! I don't know anyone that gets paid for playing league softball, so it ain't like you got a lot to lose.

Blow it off and go on. There are lots of other things in life that are way more important.

I guess I just can't get past the need for calling the police over a push of a grown man by a grown man......

Sigh..... You have to let it go. It doesnt matter if your wrong or right. Carry on or find another league.

but then again, grown men drinking and playing a girl's game are just asking for trouble (ducking)

                      exactly

OPTION 1: let it go and play ball.

OPTION 2: Don't make threats just follow threw and may the best man win.

Sounds like i would find a new place to play.

You have to remember first, it's just a game (ya'll do this for FUN). Secondly, the umpires are human, they are going to miss more calls than they usually make AND they don't want to look bad on the missed calls, so they more than likely will stick with their original call. When you get more than a few yrs under your belt (in softball and in life), you will know exactly what I am talking about...

                                Good luck!
I totally agree with Lee...am I getting close Lee to having as much experience as you?

I won't jump ur tail like others but I will say there is no need to take legal action over this. Problem with our society today, everybody wants to file a lawsuit!!! I do think though, that you need to report it to the league to get that umpire removed...especially if this happens with him on a regular basis.

Then either find a new league or go play and keep to yourself. Good luck
