Get a blood test from your doctor. Far more accurate and you know who is getting the test done.
You can do it online, but they can't treat you if you need treated.

yep, but that test goes in your file and when you apply for health insurance they ask about it forever...

I am stating all this from my personal experiences. I am a Certified USA Triathlon coach and I also use these principles with the athletes I train. I am a Ironman distance triathlete and I follow everything I am telling you. Three years ago I was 215 lbs, I am 5'6" had low T, high blood pressure, prostrate issues and a pre diabetic (my mom died form being a type I diabetic at age 36). All this was changed with proper diet and exercise. Its not easy but the reward is awesome!

If you want PM me and I can give you a basic plan that I use with the triathletes I train.

In our society if we can not mask a symptom with a pill or remove it with surgery we can not fix it, but, we can change it with diet and exercise.

Sounds pretty much like common sense. I think a guy named Daniel (can't remember last name) could be given credit for much of this.

I know when I excersize my body tells me it doesn't like cold drinks or over eating.

BAO had a client at the day lease that used the cream and took the maximum dose. The whole camp smelled like testosterone and the smell lingered for days after he left. IT STANK! He bragged about how it attracted women and this guy didn't exactly strike you as a ladies man. The only problem was that when he went hunting, all he ever saw close up were does. 4 or 5 years of hunting there and he never drew an arrow on a buck!

Per weight volume you can get more protein and nutrients form veggies than you can from red meats; for example broccoli is 80% protein. All USDA claims for protein levels are pre cooked. Once you cook it you denature the proteins (basic chem 101) and loose 60% of that value. Lets say you cook a 6oz sirloin which has a protein value of 40g. When you cook it that protein is now something like 18g. You eat it and now your body has to break down that meat and turn the protein into amino acids for your muscles to use it and convert it back into a useable protein. Mean while your sluggish and lazy because your body is using a ton of ATP during this process. Your body will use plant based amino acids and proteins more efficiently and since the amino acids are already in a form that your body can use to convert into protein then your not as sluggish after a meal.
I appreciate your qualifications, but Im seeing a lot of misleading information there. Im not attacking you, I just disagree with you )
your comparisons between broccoli/veggies and red meat is misleading to people who dont know better.
no one eats broccoli for the protein, you eat it for the nutrients/micronutrient values. (btw broccoli isnt 80% protein by weight, its closer to 50%)
per weight volumn isnt as critical as per Kcal volumn. Most veggie are incomplete proteins, you have to learn how to complete these proteins to get the full value. Its not difficult to do and most vegetarians do it by chance than by intent, but it still has to be done.
there are way more benefits to red meat than just the proteins, especially to someone with low T.

work this with your above quoted post..
100g's of uncooked broccoli is 4.3 g of INCOMPLETE proteins.

Apparently, men in their 40's start producing less and less testosterone and it brings on all sorts of physiological negative changes such as low energy, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, etc..

Wondering if any of you guys have been treated for this. Also, is there another way to boost T other than an Rx?
every man over 50 who has any diminution of sex drive, energy, well-being, or increased abd girth/flabbiness needs to be tested. there are several non-rx remedies that have been removed from the market by our friends at the fda(for our safety-hah) that can help. now about the only way is thru the rx route. any treatment regime needs to be pulsed as daily exogenous hormone replacement therapy will shut off endogenous production thru a complicated feedback mechanism. if you need the testosterone, you'll be amazed at how great you'll feel. women also need test, tho at a lower level. it makes sense for any man considering increasing his libido to have a spouse with an increased urge too. otherwise, you are likely to be seriously disappointed.

it is much too great. i never allowed my patients to shoot for anything but the highest levels for 25-30 year old men. why try to act your age? the only caveat is to be tested for psa. certain prostate cancers are testosterone dependent.

whoever calls it health insurance has a warped sense of humor. it is sickness insurance at best. if you don't take care of yourself, you won't ever thrive. survival is the best you can hope for.

the bigger problem with the sad is the estrogenic sprays/herbicides/pesticides that are everywhere in inorganic agriculture these days. we are all being feminized which retards testosterone effects very effectively. our water supply is adulterated too. plastic bottled water is a big culprit.

I just got my test results back and my level was 321. I called the Doc and will be trying the AndroGel or Testim in the next couple of days. Stress can do alot to affect the level as well as periods of inactivity. My wife is certainly going to be happy when I get back to the normal levels

Used Androgel for 2 years. Numbers went from 200 to 600, but never felt any changes. Still feel fatigued alot. Doc is suggesting injections.
