Regular exercise can stimulate testosterone as well. I have been gaining a tire around my waist and my energy is gone, so I know who the culprit is. It sucks, as I used to have abs of steel T-Bomb 3 is what I have been taking over the last couple of months. It seems to be working.

Get active and your body will produce it naturally. If you are in your 40's fat, sedative and eat crap your T levels are going to drop. Stay away form Soy products, soy has high amounts of estrogen. Start eating 80% raw, stay away from animal fats (yes steak) and alcohol. Regular physical activity, go anaerobic at least once a day, and resistance training will help maintain it.

Also maca, saw palmetto, and krill oil extract will help a lot.

I forgot...also eat as much organic products as you can. Most of the health issues we have today can be directly related to the typical "Standard American Diet" (SAD). Also juice your veggies as much as you can this will help you get more of the good nutrients with out feeling stuffed and gassy from all the fiber. The majority of ailments we have can be corrected with proper diet and exercise. And if you do decide to change your lifestyle to stay healthy remember, the adjustment period will be hell. You will feel run down, may get a cold and have stomach issues but that is your body ridding itself of the bad stuff.

I am stating all this from my personal experiences. I am a Certified USA Triathlon coach and I also use these principles with the athletes I train. I am a Ironman distance triathlete and I follow everything I am telling you. Three years ago I was 215 lbs, I am 5'6" had low T, high blood pressure, prostrate issues and a pre diabetic (my mom died form being a type I diabetic at age 36). All this was changed with proper diet and exercise. Its not easy but the reward is awesome!

If you want PM me and I can give you a basic plan that I use with the triathletes I train.

In our society if we can not mask a symptom with a pill or remove it with surgery we can not fix it, but, we can change it with diet and exercise.

I prob have this problem as well at 51, but my wife, "the know all doctor" says its all in my head and she doesn't understand how these people with all this education can say this and that about this problem.

I know you guys don't believe me, but just ask her and she will set you straight.
Heck, my doctor offered me some blue pills not long ago but I told him NO, because if I took those, I would not have anywhere to ......

Eating meat is not the issue. The issue is eating the mass produced meats form large farms that treat with steroids and antibiotics. If you kill it eat it.

Per weight volume you can get more protein and nutrients form veggies than you can from red meats; for example broccoli is 80% protein. All USDA claims for protein levels are pre cooked. Once you cook it you denature the proteins (basic chem 101) and loose 60% of that value. Lets say you cook a 6oz sirloin which has a protein value of 40g. When you cook it that protein is now something like 18g. You eat it and now your body has to break down that meat and turn the protein into amino acids for your muscles to use it and convert it back into a useable protein. Mean while your sluggish and lazy because your body is using a ton of ATP during this process. Your body will use plant based amino acids and proteins more efficiently and since the amino acids are already in a form that your body can use to convert into protein then your not as sluggish after a meal.

It isn't just in the 40's. I was diagnosed with that in 2005...almost a year after I got back from Iraq. I was 26 then. I was started on the Testim cream but changed to self-injections of depo-testerone once every two weeks. If there was some natural way to do it, let me know. I sure wish beer worked.

I'm not sure if there's any other way to treat it but there's probably 4-5 guys, here on the FD, that have to take T shots.

                      TESTOJACK

                      That is Funny

I find this one even funnier

                      Striant

The first time I saw this I pronounced it like this..

                      Straight in it....

                      Still think it's funny...

Anyone know if testosterone levels are checked during bloodwork when you get the yearly "turn your head and cough" test, or is it on a separate lab panel? My doc didn't mention anything about it last year, and I assumed that I was just getting lazier as I got older!

Got diagnosed 2 years ago at age 38, my test was 162. Doc started me on Androgel for a year and a half, went back and retested and my test was 61! Have been on injections once a week for 2 months and I can definitely feel a difference and so can my wife. Feel better now than I have in a long time.

Quackaddict, you have to ask them to check your testosterone level. It's not part of a standard physical.
