It's really not about your total number but its more about your free ranging testosterone that our body is able to utilize. Someone may have a low T level overall but their free ranging testosterone could be high and they feel great. My t was at around 360 and still is. However, the shots have brought my free ranging up from 7 to 12 percent. They are about 2 years out from having the pill. Once that happens the dr said no one will take the shots anymore. I can't wait!

Can you take to much ? And if so whats the side affects of that ?

Silent I say find a doc. that will work with you. Mine says when my level will e good when i say i fill good. I was at 475 last test and we think it will be 800 to 900 efore i get the results i want.

I've had friends taking over 4cc's of test a week with still great blood work. Obviously this was done for periods of only a few weeks and then returned to 1cc a week. If your just an avg guy wanting to feel better that would be WAY too much. There does come a point though that a doc will need to bump up your dose.

Got new results. Total Test 840, Free test 220.

On a side note, I hit something in my left through during my last injection and am now VERY sore and swollen.

So.... I went to lab yesterday and today my Doc's nurse said that I've leveled out and that I'm doing good with 1 ml every ten days. I asked her what's the count. She said 400. I said that's not the normal range! She said Doc said to take a lab again in six months and to stick with 1ml every ten days and I told her I feel like **** still with just 1 ml every ten days.

I don't understand? Please help me out here. I know I am no expert like my Doc is but I also know my body well better than my Doc does. Lol

Is 400 range normal? I remember Doc said he wanted to bring me 500-600 which is normal range.

I'm kinda confused by his statement 6 months ago and his nurse statement from today's call.

I'm 600 to 700 range feel great

I'll try to keep updates on my treatment for anyone thinking about the implant route.

Yesterday morning my doctor used two large syringes to deaden the area on my hip where the implants go. Somewhat painful...

He used a scalpel and cut a V shape and then flopped the skin back. He then inserted two rods under my skin, angled in the V shape, and pushed six pellets in each side. The nurse used steri strips to close it up.

Today i am sore and brused up pretty good. My jeans are riding directly on the bandage, and irritating me. Here is a picture.. Hope its not to nasty.

I had this done yesterday. I do not have the bruising that you have. I have a 1 1/2 inch line just over the pellets. I do have a little soreness. Just waiting for it to make me feel better.

Just got tested and started shots. Can someone clear up something for me though. When you say you feel better what "specifically" does that mean? What changed?

I got mine re-checked again the other day. It's up to 310 now and the Doc told me to stay on my current dosage. I was a little disappointed. I thought it should be higher than that and I still have fatigue. Guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing and go back in a month or two and see how it is.

For those doing the injections.... I ran out of my normal needles the other day and had some very small B12 needles. I used one of them. It was slow going in but I barely felt a thing. Usually hurts like heck. I'll be using the smaller ones from now on.

I can't speak for everyone but it does help with energy for me I'm just not up to where I should be yet. It also increases sex drive and improves muscle tone. The main reason I got tested in the first place was chronic fatigue.
