I thought you had to take a #1 after every third beer?

Until photo confirmation, I'm throwing the BS flag on 50".

I wonder if he has a 500 lb hog, too?

50" is hard to imagine if 41" is the current World Record... And that deer is from the Native Lands.

We were fairly certain we had a 40" aoudad on the ranch and he ended up being 37 on left and 36 5/8 on the right... Monster no doubt. We only miss judged a few inches.

I think someone is misjudging this AXIS by a lot!

Here is the SCI #1 estate killed in 1993. 37x36 on the two main beams. All the highest scoring axis have huge brow and cottle tines.

The second one is the number 1 SCI free range taken in 2001 and is 36x37 as well and overall was 5 inches less.

Either way, they are the biggest I have seen and don't think they would just make up some numbers to tell me. I am just sharing the pictures because to me they are all trophies.
Give those a couple of years and they might make it. I don't see a one over 34 though.. They are some handsome animals though.

                        I couldn't imagine seeing a 50" Axis deer.

Will someone please post a new thread if the guy actually kills this mythical creature. This is kinda like a thread about a sasquatch sighting.............even though I know that it isn't real, I open up the thread to see what happened.

Wow, I know that would be a beautiful sight at my feeder.

This is the biggest axis I've seen on my grandfather's place in the hill country (picture taken off the back porch). No idea on beam length or score, but he would've looked nice on my wall
