It's hard to think someone would advertise that.... Low fence + advertisement = potential poachers...
Why would you take that risk if you have a 50" Axis running on your place?
It just doesn't make since.
I don't care if it's true or not. I hope it is for the guy.

So how do you score an axis anyway? I have a euro mount I did for my cousin and would like to put a tape to it.

I would be AMAZED if it actually tapes 50". I've seen a couple low 40's killed that where studs, but never was anyone accurate in guessing the size on the hoof.

Big Iron - It's pretty simple, Main beam length + Brow + Cottle + base circumference, + Inside spread - no deductions for symmetry. There are some variations depending on the book that may add a 2nd mass measurement, but the above's the SCI system I believe.

I can agree to this to a certain point... Saying this is a public place, it is iffy but a lot of people are not going to be able to find my place.....which has numerous mid- to high 30's running on it
