It`s not hunting or harvesting (killing in my opinion), never harvested an animal in my life. Just kill it and get to skinning. Think of protecting your family.

Draw an imaginary X between his left eye-right ear, right eye-left hear and put a 45 ACP bullet on that spot from very close range. Don't jack around, that's how people get hurt or something happens that you didn't plan for, just get it over with.

you could always just open the gate and kick him in the rear.......he will feed someone or get killed by dogs, a car, or an angry farmer.....but you won't have to deal with it...

It's simple. Act like you got some feed and them shoot him in the head with a .22. This isn't about "sport" it's about putting an animal down and meat. You're not going "hunting" for him so you shouldn't feel bad about it. Just make it quick and simple and don't waste any meat.

I would wait til he is feeding facing away and shoot him behind the ear. I use a 22 but anything that you have will work.
