How would you kill this deer?

It is no different than shooting an injuryed horse or cow. Just walk up to it and shoot it in the head and be done with it. Shooting this animal is not about sport it is just about getting the job done.

I would use a larger caliber than a 22. I've seen someone try to finish off a spined deer with a 22 and the skull deflected the bullet. You might just make him mad.

It's simple. Act like you got some feed and them shoot him in the head with a .22. This isn't about "sport" it's about putting an animal down and meat. You're not going "hunting" for him so you shouldn't feel bad about it. Just make it quick and simple and don't waste any meat.

If he has to be put down then walk up and put one behind the ear. Then eat well

1 hand full of corn + 1 hand full of .22 pistol + 1 right behind the ear = Full Freezer.

I have seen guys make a heck of a mess in the hog traps with their big bad 45's and 357's...My 22 in the "square" (ear to ear and eye to eye makes a perfect square) will fold em like a lawn chair

my grandpa used to raise barbado sheep and his herd was getting out of control. We found out that he didnt have the heart to kill any of them. My parents sent me over there with a 22 rifle since it was in town. We sent my grandpa into town and I would go on a killing spree. By the time he got home, all meat would be on ice and he was fine helping out with dealing with the meat. He just couldnt deal with the eyes. Everyone has their thing I guess.

I've had to put a few dogs down. One got messed up by a coon, one got hit by a car, and one just got plain mean. All were good dogs, but it had to be done. If you have no attachment to it, then should be no problem.

I agree with this statement 100%. No different than shooting a feral cat or dog. If you can load him and take him to a plant that kills cows, do that if it makes you feel better. They will pop him in the head with a 22 caliber bolt anyway.
I would be careful doing it- he attacked one person already and he might do it again to you when you do the dead.

I think you should use a sword and decapitate him. Or use a spear... Or just shoot him next to the cleaning station so you dont have to move him very far.
