I've no problem with it but I could see it being an issue. Unfortunately I don't give a monkeys rear about the folks it offends.

Some of you fellas need to ride on over to mamby pamby land..
Why are we as hunters the ones that need to take measures to hope we don't offend.......when none of the people that would get offended in this situation would take measures to make sure they don't offend our way of life and passion? I am sick and tired of trying to make every single person in the world happy. It's an impossible task....
Harvest? are you kidding me?

Man, there are some real emotional posts here, and I've read each and every one of them. I'd have to say that the OP sort of has taken some liberties with his descriptions of the photo in question... first off, I seen NO evidence of Alcohol or drunkenness in the photo, other than the photographer displayed some characteristics of being drunk... crooked picture, slightly out of focus and under-exposed, and Poor composition. The load in the back of the truck is secured well, tied down and well organized. The location of the deer heads seems to be about the best place to put them given the load and goods that had to be hauled... There is NO blood in the picture that I can see and the capes are neatly tucked under the heads... And I'd like to know exactly what "PARADE" the OP is refering to that this person is participating in? From the angle of the picture, it appears the OP is in the same parade, just on a different "float"... what a boring parade it would have been if all the floats were the same anyway. It also appears that the meat was probably well taken care of, since the heads are sitting on top of what appears to be a big cooler. AND the guy most likely took some good LDP's becasue there appears to be a camera tripod packed away in the back of the truck
I'm just wondering aside from offending someone who would just be looking for something to be offended of, just exactly what is wrong with this picture??? I say NOTHING... but that's just me... a regular old East Texas Redneck... I can go through our old photo albums and show you literally hundreds of pictures with deer tied to the vehicles, on top, on the front fenders, on the back, you name it... Heck when I was a kid, my dad and brother got their picture in the sports section of the Lufkin Daily News and a 2 column write up for a deer hunt they went on way out in West Texas... picture was a 1963 Chevy P/U with all the camping gear tarped down in the back and ON TOP of the tarp, were 7 full bodied deer, two bucks and a doe for each of the three hunters... I guess times may have changed a bit, but I see no reason to back down to these bunny huggers any longer. I'll not make excuses for who I am. I am a hunter, and I hunt to kill animals... yes I use a camera too, but I use a bow to do my killin'... that's who I am, and I am pretty dang proud of that too. Taught my kids to hunt and shoot, probably better'n me... Hope they do the same.
Ok, carry on...

Guess we ticked off a lot of folks with this trailer then
Had to haul the contents of the cold room from the ranch to the local taxidermist in Uvalde a couple of years ago. Danged near caused a riot when we had to stop at a red light. Probably had 20 trucks follow us to the taxidermist's location! LOL

I guess it is just an individual choice. Are you willing to offend another person just to show off your harvest or not?Originally posted by Tejas Wildlife View PostHad to haul the contents of the cold room from the ranch to the local taxidermist in Uvalde a couple of years ago. It makes hunters look like a bunch of drunken killing fools. At least they didn't have a TBH sticker on their window. I came across this while driving down 1604. So to the owner of this truck. If you happen to read this post(which I seriously doub't cause no one here would do that) please use a little common sense next time and be respectful of the animals we harvest.
