Yeah Im surprised too. However I respect everyones opinion. I saw a pic here I beleive last week and the deer was hanging on a winch on the back of a pick up cruising down the highway and everyone hated on that. That image was pretty bad. I myself like everone here have to transport my deer on back of my pickup like everyone else but I make room and keep the tailgate closed. Just my way of doing things I guess. Do enjoy listening to what everyone has to say though. No hating on that.

i personally wouldnt be proud of killing bucks that size but if they are trophies in their eyes then you cant take anything away from them. everyone has a different prospective of a trophy however i dont think the are trying to show off their kills. its just the only way they could fit them in the truck.

I personally stay sober when doin my kill'n. Wanna make sure im shoot'n a nice ten point and not a spike causing the deer to grow due to my blurred vision. LOL..

I live in a rural area. Around here, the only reaction would be a tinge of envy and a thumbs up when you pass them. It would be different if it was an "in your face" bloody display. But it isn't - it is a guy heading home after a great hunt.

It is totally OK for some people and totally wrong for others and that's just the way of the world.

If someone is an anti and they see even just the tips of the antlers sticking out over the edge of the truck bed, they are going to be just as offended. I personally could care less how they feel. I'm just completely sick and tired of everyone trying to please each other.

Now, If our family passed this truck on the road, the discussion in the car would be how much each of them scored or should he have given them another year?

I hunt just the same way I practice. Six pack in one hand bow in the other. Similar to the way I took tests in college. Go to class drunk, take the test drunk...made a perfect 2.7!
