We are a visual society with a show me, don't tell me attitude. It's one thing to come back to camp (or the green screen) and tell all your hunting buddies about a {black bear} you saw while hunting...It's quite another to be able to show them!

OK..OK.. I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but I have watched this video numerous times, and when I pause it at just the right spot, I can see a zipper on the bear's butt! I suspect it is Travis or Justin in a bear suit!..LOL Just Kidding Mary, we all know it is Jamie in the bear suit.. Ha HA

On a serious note.. I wonder just how many old school ranchers have seen a black bear in the past and did the ol' triple SSS routine to save a few sheep and goats???

Also, black bears are not a predator of large game like thier bigger cousins, the brown, grizz, and polar bears.. They are more of a scavenger and berry eater... Which would explain eating the corn.. I am sure he would do some damage to a protein feeder also...

True to some extent but black bears in other states are a huge predator of fawns. I followed a study North Carolina did where they radio tractkd fawns to determine deer mortality causes and rates....black bears consumed more then coyotes.

I agree with that. I would think they would eat a fawn just like a hog would..

Now, that is an idea for an awesome mount! A big male(boar) black bear in a face off with a big wild boar with a fawn in between them!

or a big sow protecting her shoats from a black bear...
