    Bare sighting

Ok, no rude comments. We haven't met.

I forgive the tease though. Truly awesome. No experience to compare with a wild bear (or bare) in the woods.

And the winning lottery ticket purchased in Leaky belons to . . . .

I don't know if Mailman took pics of them or not. Two young bucks. both were probably late buttons last year. will probably be spikes this year. The other buck was past his ears. working on being an 8. I was too close to the window and didn't want to risk moving as they were REALLY close. I'll see if I can't find my camera, but it's probably in his pack.

I guess I'm gonna have to quit calling BS on the black panther now. Really kind of does my heart good to see a bear in the woods in Texas again, though. Thanks for the video, Mary.

OK, the number of views keeps skyrocketing while the post count's holding steady. That tells me one thing, Mary: everyone's now seen the bear and are checking back for the other BARE.

Guilty as charged gosh darn it!!!!

Great work Mary, but a little less than Slayer and his Javi video spread across the ww web. Now, if you had walked out and kicked it in the arse to get it off the feeder, I would move this up higher on the all time list!!

Bears are known to range up from Mexico and it is rare to see them. Most of the ranchers, once they find out a bear is out and about, end up putting them down. Heard a few stories out Kerrville way concerning bear sightings and it seems the ranching community are at odds with them ranging the Hills. Bears and Mountain Lions are coming back and it's good to see. Just hope the bears have a chance to make it and the mentality changes IRT to them ranging the Hills.

                            Stolle,

I hate to say I did not get any pics of that buck. He was young 8 that looked like he would be just outside his ears. He was with two little bucks, and they both had about an inch or so of growth. When your feeder went off, they ran for the hills.

They came back in a little later, and they were so close it would have been hard to take a pic without scaring them off. It was quite and very still that evening, getting drawn on something would have taken some effort. That is a very good blind, they ate for over an hour, from as close as 5 yards and never knew we were there. I was hoping for some spots as well...

                            Good luck this year bud...

Well done. You are braver then I, the camera would have been shaking if I were filming.
