Been either a stubby with snake shot, or the judge with .410. But after going out for yesterday’s morning sit to find the gate busted open might be time to switch back to a semi auto.

I cant carry no great big hog leg, bothers me and always in the way. They always getting hung up or make sitting uncomfortable in a ladder stand for me.

I have a S&W 642 that I keep in my day pack. I do keep a Kimber Micro9 with me most of the time when I aint hunting, it always within reach.

Same gun I carry every day. Springfield Range Officer Compact 45 ACP hard cast 220 gr. flat point. It's light and it will do a number on hogs or any other boogieman critters

Back when I lived in Texas I carried a Taurus Judge with 3 .410 #8 shot and 2 .45 LC. My main reason for carrying was rattlesnakes.

The 3" Judge gets the nod when walking thru hog/brush country.
